How a donor advised fund works Donations - You make an irrevocable gift to your donor advised fund. Gifts may be made in the form of cash, publicly traded securities, and complex assets.

Investments - You and your First Citizens Wealth team develop a strategy to grow your charitable assets.

Grants - You recommend grants from your Fund to qualified public charities when and where you're ready.
